ExactUnits Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
ExactUnits converts units of measurement on the web pages you visit. All conversion happens locally in your browser.
What we collect
Nothing. ExactUnits does not collect, store or transmit the addresses of pages you visit, any text from them, or any personal information. It does not send usage statistics and makes no network requests to our servers.
Settings and Chrome sync
Your preferences (unit system, target units, display options) are stored in your browser using Chrome's storage. If Chrome sync is turned on, Google may sync these settings between your own browsers. We do not receive this data.
Permissions
- Access to websites — units can appear on any page; the text is processed locally and never leaves your browser.
- storage — saves your preferences.
- alarms — schedules local housekeeping such as resetting daily counters.
Feedback
If you contact us through the Chrome Web Store support page or by email, we use your message only to reply and fix problems.
Changes
If a future version starts collecting any data, we will update this policy before that version is released and describe exactly what is collected.
